Erin met Ronnie when she was 16. Both attended Shamokin Area High School however Ronnie was 4 years older then Erin. Erin used to walk home to a friend’s house located on the block where they now live. Erin always saw him but never talked to him. When Erin was in high school, she worked at the local Dollar Tree. Ron would come in to the store every day on his lunch break and buy kit kat candy bars. A co-worker of Erin came to her one day and said a guy was in the store and wanted her phone number. At first she had no interest, but then suddenly wanted to know who it was. Erin stood in the office where she could see out but, he couldn’t see in. To her surprise it was the guy who bought the kit kats! Erin waited over a month before calling him. Columbus day weekend she was off of school and decided to give him a call, ever since that weekend they have been together. Erin knew that he was going to propose, he took her out looking at different styles of rings. They were engaged October 18, 2008 at his parents house.
