Wedding

Gia & Coleman – Williamsport

005Gia, of Cogan Station, and Coleman Gregory, of Williamsport, were wed last month in a classic affair in Williamsport.

007Coleman and Gia first met in Mr. Lingle’s 8th grade math class at Lycoming Valley Middle School. Gia says, “We could not have been more different. He was the obnoxious jock, and I was the new girl, fresh out of Bishop Neumann. We didn’t start to become friends until the middle of freshman year at Williamsport Area High School through mutual friends. Throughout high school we remained close, but we didn’t start dating until our senior year. From then on, we spent most our time hanging out with friends, shooting pool at my parents’ house, or skipping morning classes to go to Perkins for breakfast.” Graduation then separated the pair. Gia went to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and Coleman to Penn State University Main Campus. But despite the distance, they talked every day, and she visited him at Penn State almost every weekend. Gia says “And while we struggled at times, we remained best friends.”

Then on a cloudy, windy night in Boca Raton, Florida, he popped question and asked Gia to be his forever.
