Lindsey & Jason — Richfield

stauffer03Lindsey Houser and Jason Stauffer, both of Port Trevorton, were wed in a rustic vintage affair.

stauffer08Lindsey and Jason were next-door neighbors their whole lives, but neither knew the other existed because they grew up in two different worlds. Jason grew up horse and buggy Mennonite and Lindsey did not. The pair finally met four days before she left for college at a softball tournament he had organized. The couple ran into each other again the next day on the road they both grew up on and started talking. Jason had been interested in Lindsey for a while, having seen her out and about, but had never said anything. They really hit it off and dated all through college. On June 13, 2014, Jason took Lindsey to the softball field in Oriental where they first met and asked her to marry him on the pitcher’s mound where she saw him for the first time.
